Ribbon Outdoor Cable is a type of fiber optic cable where multiple optical fibers are arranged in a flat ribbon structure instead of being placed loosely inside tubes. It is specially designed for outdoor installations and high fiber count applications.
- Fiber range: 16-432 cores. Generally single-mode and multi-mode.
- Operation temperature is between -40°C to 60°C
- Suitable for outdoor applications such as metro and long-haul networks, Data centers (high fiber count requirements), or High fiber density (can support hundreds of fibers in small diameter).
